How proceeds work
When you book a hotel with us, 50% of what we earn on that booking goes to the organization you support. You pay the same prices you would find on other travel sites, with no markup and no extra cost to you.
Where the money comes from
Hotels sell rooms to travel sellers like us at wholesale rates. The price you see and pay is the public rate. The difference between the two is the margin. Other travel sites keep all of it. We share ours with the organization you support.
We also spend less on advertising, because organizations share their page with their own supporters. That saving is part of what lets us give back.
Seeing the amount
While you search, hotel results show an estimate of the proceeds your booking would generate, such as "$35+ to" followed by the organization's name. Select the check mark next to it for a short explanation.
After you book, open the trip in My Trips. The trip detail shows the amount generated for the organization you support, and the team or program you chose, if any.
These amounts are estimates made at the time of booking. The final amount is worked out after your stay.
When the organization gets paid
Proceeds are owed to the organization once your trip is complete. We send the payment directly to the organization.
If you cancel a booking, it no longer generates proceeds. If part of a booking is refunded, the proceeds go down to match.
Organizations that offer savings instead
A few organizations choose to pass the margin back to you as a lower price. On their pages you see a "Save" amount in place of a proceeds amount, and the organization does not receive proceeds from your booking.
Any trip counts
You can book for any reason: family trips, business travel, weddings, away games or a weekend away. Every booking made through the organization's page supports it.
To pick or switch the organization you support, see Choosing or changing the organization you support.
